I've got a

For obvious reasons I was never really able to keep up with the company too long after I was let go.  It was simply amazing, however, how much feedback I have received over the years form former managers, sales people, and even various people at the old headquarters.  I thank you all very much for many interesting stories.

A bit of irony, though, in the fact that Barnes and Noble bought Babbage's (which was privately owned) in October '99.  Details can be read here.  For those of you who do not know or remember, Barnes and Noble had close ties to Software Etc. long before the merger with Babbage's.

From what I have heard and seen lately, Babbage's / S Etc. is doing much better.  They have a new website that is far superior to anything they had in the past.  Most of this, I'm sure, was aided by the B&N deal.

Whatever the future holds for the company and its employees, I wish them the best of luck.
