Then What? |
To make a long story short 100 stores were
sentenced to death immediately. The other 100 were to remain open until December 29th. I
was in the latter half. Everything was marked down 20-50% off. If you still
had a
Babbage's or S.Etc near you, your store was obviously one of the lucky ones. In our store's case, the entire staff was let go without the opportunity for relocation. All and all, it made me realize the silliness of working in a mall soap opera, management or not. After working there over two years, and seeing all of this coming, the only reason you stick it out is because of the damn great friends you make. |
